Fernando Gil de Santivañes
Head of Research
Fernando Gil de Santivañes is the Head of Research and Financial institutions analyst. Started his career at Prudential Bache Securities in 1999, moved to Credit Suisse in 2003 where he worked in Treasury and Asset management. In 2015, he moved to Mutuactivos to work as the equity Portfolio Manager FIG specialist. Fernando joins Bestinver from Barclays where he has been the Spanish banks Equity Research at Barclays bank, London since 2019.
He received his degree in Law from the Complutense University Madrid (UCM), his Master in Financial markets from (IEB) in 1999, and his Executive MBA from IESE in 2008.
