Enrique Pérez-Plá

Enrique Pérez-Plá is CEO of BESTINVER. He joined the company in July 2019.
He began his professional career in the mid-80s as a wealth manager at Banif. In December 1989, he founded with other partners Carnegie España S.V.S.A., where he was CEO until 1996.
In 1996 he was appointed Managing Director General of J. Henry Schroder S.V.S.A. In 2000, he became General Director of Citigroup as head of the Spanish and Portuguese Stock Exchange division.
In October 2003, he founded Fidentiis, where he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group and CEO of Fidentiis Equities S.V.S.A. until July 2019 when the firm is bought by BESTINVER.
He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid, with a specialty in International Economics.
