Raimundo Fernández-Villaverde was appointed BESTINVER’s Secretary-General in September 2020.
He joined ACCIONA in 2004 as Manager in the Corporate Legal Advisory department, after starting his professional career at Uría & Menéndez (1998) and serving as Vodafone España’s Board Secretary between 2003 and 2004. In 2008, he was appointed Head of ACCIONA’s Corporate Legal Affairs and in 2016 he was placed in charge of M&A and Corporate Services, where he undertook many corporate public and private transactions, mainly in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Raimundo Fernández-Villaverde holds a law degree from Universidad San Pablo CEU (1994-1998) and is registered at Madrid’s Bar Association (ICAM).
